4. Data Collection When Visiting Our Website

4.1 Server Log Files

Each time our website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores the following information in server log files:

  • IP address of the requesting computer (anonymised)
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the requested file
  • Website from which access was made (referrer)
  • Browser and operating system used
  • Amount of data transferred and HTTP status code

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free provision and optimisation of our services).
Retention period: Log files are deleted after a maximum of 7 days.

5. Data Collection During Registration and Orders

When registering in our online shop or placing an order, we collect the following personal data:

  • Payment data (processed exclusively via certified payment service providers)

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
Retention period: We store your data for as long as necessary for the processing of your order and beyond that in accordance with statutory retention obligations (generally 10 years under the German Commercial Code / Tax Code).

6. Newsletter

With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter. We use the double opt-in procedure: after signing up, you will receive a confirmation email which you must actively confirm.

We store your email address as well as the date and time of registration and confirmation for this purpose.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Withdrawal: You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future – either via the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or by emailing kundenservice@reutterminiaturen.com.
Retention period: Your data will be deleted immediately upon unsubscribing from the newsletter.

7. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties in the following cases:

  • You have explicitly consented (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
  • The disclosure is necessary for the performance of a contract, e.g. to shipping or payment service providers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
  • There is a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
  • There is a legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

All processors are contractually obliged to comply with the GDPR (Art. 28 GDPR). We inform you about the service providers we use below.

7.1 PayPal

We offer PayPal as a payment method. The provider is PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg.

If you choose to pay via PayPal, the payment data you have entered will be transmitted to PayPal for the purpose of payment processing and fraud prevention.

7.2 DHL

We use DHL for the shipment of your orders. The provider is DHL Paket GmbH, Sträßchensweg 10, 53113 Bonn, Germany, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post AG.

To carry out the delivery, we transmit your name, delivery address and, if provided, your phone number and email address to DHL.

7.3 GLS

For certain shipments we alternatively use the shipping service provider GLS. The provider is General Logistics Systems Germany GmbH & Co. OHG, GLS Germany-Park 1, 36286 Neuenstein, Germany.

To carry out the delivery, we transmit your name, delivery address and, if provided, your phone number and email address to GLS.

We maintain profiles on the following social media platforms. When you visit our social media profiles, the respective provider collects data (e.g. IP address, browser information, pages visited). We have no influence over the data collection and processing by these providers.
